This safari combines two of Kenya’s most famous wildlife parks. Lake Nakuru National Park is known for its rhino sanctuary and birdlife, while the Maasai Mara National Reserve offers exceptional wildlife viewing and Big Five sightings.
Depart Nairobi and drive through the Great Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive in time for lunch followed by an afternoon game drive around the lake where you may see flamingos, rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, buffalo, and possibly lions or leopards.
Enjoy an early morning game drive before departing for the Masai Mara. Arrive at your lodge or camp in time for lunch. Later in the afternoon, embark on a game drive in search of wildlife across the vast plains.
Spend the day exploring the reserve with morning and afternoon game drives. Look out for large lion prides, cheetahs, elephants, and herds of wildebeest and zebras.
