This popular safari circuit takes you through three of Kenya’s most famous wildlife destinations. The journey begins in Amboseli National Park, known for its large elephant herds and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. The safari then continues to Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for rhinos and birdlife, before ending in the wildlife-rich plains of the Maasai Mara National Reserve, home to the Big Five and the spectacular wildebeest migration.
Depart from Nairobi in the morning and drive south through Maasai pastoral lands toward Amboseli National Park. Arrive at your lodge or camp in time for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive across the park’s open plains and swamp areas where elephants, buffalo, giraffes, and zebras are commonly seen.
Spend the day exploring the park with morning and afternoon game drives. Amboseli is famous for its large elephant herds and incredible views of Mount Kilimanjaro. The park’s swamps attract hippos, water birds, and many other animals.
After breakfast, depart Amboseli and drive through the Great Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch followed by an afternoon game drive around the lake’s shores where rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, and flamingos can be seen.

Spend the entire day exploring the reserve with morning and afternoon game drives. The Masai Mara offers some of the best wildlife viewing in Africa with large populations of lions, cheetahs, elephants, and many other animals.
