Overview

This well-balanced safari explores three of Kenya’s most scenic and wildlife-rich destinations. The journey begins in Amboseli National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro. The safari then continues to the beautiful Rift Valley lake region around Lake Naivasha, known for its birdlife and scenic landscapes, before ending in the world-renowned Maasai Mara National Reserve, one of Africa’s most celebrated wildlife reserves and home to the Big Five.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1

Nairobi – Amboseli National Park

Depart from Nairobi in the morning and drive south through Maasai pastoral lands toward Amboseli National Park. The drive takes you across open plains with occasional sightings of wildlife along the way. Arrive at your lodge or tented camp in time for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy your first game drive across the park’s vast plains and swamp areas where elephants, giraffes, zebras, and buffalo are commonly seen. If the weather is clear, the snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro provides a stunning backdrop.

Day 2

Full-Day Game Drives in Amboseli

Spend the day exploring the park with morning and afternoon game drives. Amboseli is one of the best places in Africa to see elephants up close, often in large family groups. The park’s wetlands and swamps attract hippos, water birds, and many other animals. Predators such as lions and cheetahs are also occasionally spotted.
