Day 1Nairobi – Amboseli National Park
Depart from Nairobi in the morning and drive south toward Amboseli National Park. The journey passes through Maasai pastoral lands with beautiful views of open plains and scattered acacia trees. Arrive at your lodge or tented camp in time for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy your first game drive across the park where elephants, zebras, wildebeest, and giraffes are commonly seen against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Day 2Full Day in Amboseli National Park
Spend the day exploring the park with morning and afternoon game drives. Amboseli is famous for its large elephant herds and spectacular photography opportunities. The park’s wetlands attract hippos, buffalo, and numerous bird species while predators such as lions and hyenas may also be spotted.

Day 3Amboseli – Tsavo West National Park
After breakfast, depart Amboseli and drive toward Tsavo West National Park. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. In the afternoon, visit the famous Mzima Springs where crystal-clear water flows from underground springs attracting hippos, crocodiles, and fish. Enjoy an evening game drive in the surrounding wilderness.

Day 4Explore Tsavo West National Park
Spend the day exploring Tsavo West’s diverse landscapes including volcanic hills, lava flows, and natural springs. Wildlife viewing may include elephants, buffalo, leopards, and various antelope species. The park is also known for its dramatic scenery and birdlife.

Day 5Tsavo West – Tsavo East National Park
After breakfast, drive east into Tsavo East National Park. This park is known for its wide open plains and the famous “red elephants” that cover themselves in the park’s red volcanic soil. Arrive for lunch followed by an afternoon game drive along the Galana River.

Day 6Full Day in Tsavo East National Park
Spend the day exploring the park’s vast wilderness. Wildlife sightings may include lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, ostriches, and large herds of buffalo. The open landscapes make Tsavo East excellent for wildlife viewing and photography.
