Day 1Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve
Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive north through the central highlands, passing coffee and tea plantations before descending into the drier landscapes of northern Kenya. Arrive at Samburu National Reserve in time for lunch at your lodge or camp. Later in the afternoon, enjoy a game drive along the Ewaso Nyiro River where elephants, crocodiles, and numerous bird species gather.

Day 2Game Drives in Samburu National Reserve
Spend the day exploring Samburu with morning and afternoon game drives. The reserve is home to the famous “Samburu Special Five” including Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, Somali ostrich, and the long-necked gerenuk. Lions, leopards, and cheetahs are also commonly seen.

Day 3Samburu – Ol Pejeta Conservancy
After breakfast, depart Samburu and drive south toward the Laikipia Plateau. Arrive at Ol Pejeta Conservancy in time for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive within the conservancy which hosts the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa.

Day 4Full-Day Activities in Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Spend the day exploring the conservancy. Activities include visiting the rhino sanctuary and the chimpanzee sanctuary, the only place in Kenya where rescued chimpanzees can be seen. The conservancy is also home to elephants, lions, giraffes, and many other animals.

After breakfast, depart for the Masai Mara. The journey passes through scenic countryside and rural towns before reaching the reserve. Arrive in time for lunch followed by an afternoon game drive.

Spend the day exploring the reserve with morning and afternoon game drives. The Mara is home to large populations of lions, elephants, buffalo, cheetahs, and numerous antelope species.
