This Uganda Gorilla Fly-In Safari is designed for travellers who want to experience Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park without the long road journey from Entebbe. The package uses return domestic flights between Entebbe and Kihihi.
The itinerary includes one night in Entebbe, two nights in Bwindi, a community walk and a guided gorilla trek. Budget and midrange accommodation options are available throughout 2026.

On arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will be met and welcomed by our representative, who will be your tour and driver guide during your stay. After a brief introduction, you will be transferred to your hotel in Entebbe for an overnight stay on a bed and breakfast basis. The drive takes approximately 10 to 30 minutes.
After a morning pickup from your Entebbe hotel, transfer to the airport for your flight to Kihihi Airstrip. Your lodge guide will welcome you at the airstrip and drive you to the lodge. In the afternoon, join a community walk around the park, then return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing before beginning the gorilla trek. Trekking takes place in Bwindi's Buhoma, Ruhija, Rushaga and Nkuringo sectors. Finding the gorillas may take approximately two to five hours, depending on where they were last seen. Once located, you will have one hour to take photos and videos and ask the rangers and guides questions. The forest is also home to butterflies, primates, mammals, frogs and many bird species. The full activity may take five to nine hours. A packed lunch and porter hire are highly recommended. Return to your lodge for an overnight stay on a full-board basis.
After breakfast, and depending on your domestic flight time, your lodge guide will drive you to the airstrip for the flight from Bwindi back to Entebbe. On arrival at Entebbe Airport, connect with your onward flight to your next destination.
